Sara Rader, LPC-MHSP
is a Licensed Professional Counselor (Mental Health Service Provider), specializing in perinatal mental health.
A Nashville native, Sara returned home to Middle Tennessee after serving clients in community mental health and private practice in Louisville, KY for several years. Prior to starting her private practice, Sara completed her Masters degree in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University. Her clinical and life experiences have fostered a deep appreciation for the essential role of human connection in healthy development, and all of her work - as a therapist, mom, and friend - reflects this.
In therapy, Sara enjoys supporting folks in their parenthood journeys, from family planning to postpartum, and all the highs and lows in between. Her training as an EMDR clinician allows her to help clients heal from painful parts of their story and experience more joy and balance. She has advanced training in perinatal mental health, trauma, and couples therapy.
Sara is also proud to serve as a board member for Postpartum Support International (KY Chapter), where she has been active in expanding education and resources to support families experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
